Council President Krekorian and District 2 staff hosted an Appreciation Luncheon at Fire Station 89 for City staff who work with the unhoused, and for our partners from Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) and Hope the Mission, who work day after day to help unhoused persons transition to safer shelter.

Attendees included our L.A. Sanitation CARE and CARE+ crews who clean homeless encampments, the LAHSA outreach teams, the LAPD officers who protect our A Bridge Home shelters, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and other frontline staff who spend their days trying to help the most vulnerable members of our community.
