Councilmember Krekorian breaks ground at Keswick Pocket Park.

Councilmember Krekorian joined Recreation and Parks staff, community members, and representatives of the Valley Plaza Park Advisory Board and the North Hollywood Northeast Neighborhood Council to break ground for a new public space on a previously unused parcel of City-owned land. Councilmember Krekorian and the community worked with Recreation and Parks to design a pocket park around existing infrastructure to fit the site.

Councilmember Krekorian secured Community Block Grant and Quimby funds to pay for the project, and the Keswick Pocket Park will soon be a welcome addition to a neighborhood that has perviously lacked a public space for outdoor recreation.
