SUN VALLEY - Clean up efforts led by the office of Councilmember Krekorian cleared brush, weeds, and debris from Sun Valley and Studio City neighborhoods. With help of volunteers from local non-profit Sun Valley Graffiti Busters, more than 56 bags of brush and weeds were cleared along a blighted section of Glenoaks and Hollywood Way in SunValley, and trash and debris were removed from the Colfax Pedestrian Bridge.

The neighborhood clean-up is part of a larger beautification push taking place across District 2 led by Councilmember Krekorian in collaboration with community groups, local organizations and public safety leaders.

Is there an area in your neighborhood in need of care? Want to organize a community clean-up of your own? Let us know by calling (818) 755-7676. You should also call 311 to report illegally dumped items whenever you see them. Once you do, the Bureau of Sanitation will come out to remove the items. This is a very helpful service provided by the city.

If you see trash or debris in your neighborhood, call 3-1-1 or submit a service request online at lacity.org/MyLA311.
