VALLEY VILLAGE - Dozens of community members joined this year's National Night Out celebration in Valley Village to promote community safety and strengthen partnerships with local law enforcement. Councilmember Krekorian greeted event goers and shared community updates about the city's continued work to improve services and resources for residents. National Night Out is an annual tradition that highlights the partnership of local groups, elected officials and law enforcement officers that keep our neighborhoods safe. Last year, more than 38 million people from 15,000 communities across the United States participated in the event. Along with Valley Village, Katherine Square and Glencrest Hills also held successful National Night Out events this year in Council District 2.
