Last week, the Los Angeles City Council returned to the San Fernando Valley, meeting at Van Nuys City Hall for the first time since before the outbreak of COVID in 2020.
Among the valley dignitaries on hand was 100-year-old World War II veteran Robert Sharp, a Lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Air Corps who spoke movingly of his experience in the war and lessons learned over the course of a long and meaningful life.
