EAST VALLEY - This week, Councilmember Krekorian recognized LAPD Officer Steven Rausch for his 30 years of dedicated service to Los Angeles. During his three decades in the LAPD, Officer Rausch has earned more than 185 commendations and accolades for professionalism, teamwork, investigative skills, compassion, observational skills, tactics, attention to duty and stellar performance. He also received the Police Medal for his heroic actions in saving a life.
As a member of LAPD's Valley Traffic Division for more than five years, Officer Rausch worked closely with the District 2 staff and the East Valley community to keep streets and neighborhoods safe from impaired drivers, while improving traffic enforcement and mitigation standards.
