STUDIO CITY - City officials broke ground on Studio City's Valleyheart Riverwalk Project this week, a project that propels Councilmember Krekorian's ongoing work to revitalize the LA River and restore the area's natural habitat.Plans for the riverwalk will include new landscaping with native plants along the embankments, upgraded fencing on the south side, and lighting, seating and other significant improvements. The half-mile stretch of riverfront recreation space will enhance this section of the LA River and add green space, walkable trails and a beautiful bike path.
