LOS ANGELES - A change in weather is bringing strong winds across Southern California. The LA Fire Dept. is urging residents to use caution with flame, heat and spark producing equipment, including vehicles, barbecues and power tools.Strong winds can increase the dangers of wildfires. Residents should remain vigilant of brush fires and flammable vegetation near properties. If you see nearby smoke and flames, immediately call 911. For more fire safety tips, visit www.lafd.org.
