LOS ANGELES - Earlier this week, the LA Dept. of Transportation unveiled and tested new roadway striping equipment that is ready to work on LA's streets. Councilmember Krekorian joined LADOT General Manager Seleta Reynold to survey the new trucks and try out the equipment.As chair of LA's Budget Committee, Krekorian worked with city officials to approve funding for the department's new, state-of-the-art trucks. The eight trucks lay down white and yellow thermoplastic material to demarcate lanes.
"These new roadway striping trucks and equipment we helped secure through the budget process will increase efficiency and productivity for hardworking city crews as we continue to restore services throughout our city," said Krekorian.
