Valley Kids Learn L.A. History

Council District 2 provided a City charter bus to the North Hollywood-Sun Valley FamilySource Center for a field trip to La Plaza de Cultura y Artes and El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument. More than two dozen children, ages five through 13, participants in the Latino Resource Organization Summer Learning Program, had a great time learning about their city’s history and culture in the very place where Los Angeles began.
